Criterion was established in 1990 to meet the needs of the video security industry. Since its inception, Criterion has consistently advanced it's technology to keep up with the growing needs of the security industry. Criterion is dedicated to exceeding customer expectations by supplying the highest quality security enclosures. Our investments in research and development and process improvements consistently lower our manufacturing cost while increasing the optical quality of our products. Today we are the most technologically advanced supplier of acrylic and polycarbonate domes in the security industry. We believe our commitment to continuous research, advanced technology, and automation is instrumental to the continued success of our customers.

We provide a wide array of optical quality injection molding services including design and development, prototyping, low volume and high volume production, turn-key assembly, and custom surface finishes. Our facility is equipped with six custom vacuum thermoformers for processing quick turn prototyping or low volume runs in acrylic. For larger runs we have four injection molding presses for injection molding domes in either acrylic or polycarbonate. Our custom built hard coat machines enable us to add scratch resistance, cosmetic enhancement and longevity to the rugged polycarbonate domes. Our vacuum metallizer allows us to coat both thermoformed and injection molded domes with a chrome or gold finish for both improved cosmetic appeal and camera concealment.
