Nylon and hard coated polycarbonate are excellent selections for these applications. Optical clarity and concealment are significant requirements for retail stores, hospitality, and casinos. Acrylic and nylon are preferred for optical clarity. Surface finishes in gold and chrome can be added to enhance concealment effects. Nylon or polycarbonate can be recommended for many drilling, mining, and defense operations when explosion-proof is a requirement.
